For this project, I was assigned to choose a subject for an information rich mini-site design. The project had the following mock client:

The “Informing America Project” is an independent

resource to help combat the perpetuation of

misinformation mainly in the U.S.. The Gates

Foundation U.S. Program launched the project with

the goal of creating/curating a digital resource to help

Americans make more informed decisions on

important local, national & international issues/topics

events so they can ultimately get involved on a local

level in more productive ways.

Due to the visual nature of our society, the project will

employ Information Designers from a diverse selection

of Universities. They will create information mini-sites

that present topics and information in easy to understand

and well organized ways.

I researched facts as well as different ways I could portray Lyme Disease misconceptions in an interesting way. After doing designs and perfecting them, I performed user testing and then further developed my design to get my final product.
